Early Tuesday morning the basketball world lost one of its icons, Pat Summitt. The winningest coach in Division I history (1,098-208), Summitt led the Tennessee Lady Vols to eight national titles, and 16 SEC regular and tournament championships in her 38-year career as head coach.

She was a beloved figure who transcended the realm of basketball, and made an ever-lasting impact on the lives of the hundreds of young women who matriculated through her program. Every single one of her players graduated over her three-plus decades at the helm of Tennessee women’s basketball.

See the true magnitude of Pat’s life and how her passing means so much to those around the world of sports and beyond.
