The team will start play in the 2030 WNBA Season.

The team will play in South Philadelphia alongside the Philadelphia 76ers.

A new, state-of-the-art women's performance center will be built and dedicated to the WNBA Philadelphia team.

The team name will be announced at a later date. The naming process will include input from the Philadelphia fanbase and basketball communities.

Currently WNBA teams play 22 regular season home games.

The WNBA awarded Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment (HBSE) an WNBA franchise on June 30th, 2025. HBSE who owns and operates the Philadelphia 76ers, will also own and operate the WNBA Philadelphia team. Subject to league approval, the owners group will include Comcast and other strategic investors with Philadelphia roots.
