INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana forward Lynetta Kizer plays a key role of the bench because of her size and rebounding ability. During pregame warmups, however, she also takes a starring role.
Before the team takes the court, the Fever walk through the tunnels and sing, with Kizer the key harmonizer.
“It gets us hype before the game,” Kizer said. “Everyone gets into it.”

According the Kizer, the ritual started on the road in mid-August.
“I think we started one of the songs on the West Coast trip,” she said. “and we were pretty succesful on the West coast so we started going with that.”
For those wondering, the song they are signing is Hold On (Change is Comin’) by Sounds of Blackness.
