D.C. Loves EDD

The city of Washington loves their newest celebrity resident. The 2015 WNBA MVP Elle Delle Donne is officially a member of the Washington Mystics today after being traded by the Chicago Sky. The 2016 Gold Medalist was the leading scorer in the WNBA last season, averaging 21.5 points per game. The addition of the 6-5 forward to the Mystics frontcourt has the potential to change the landscape of women’s basketball. As soon as the news broke, the city’s teams rolled out the welcome mat:
